Karrigan Falber was named the Head Women's Soccer Coach at LeTourneau University in January 2025. The 2025 season will be her first at the helm of the program.
Falber is the ninth head coach in the program's history.
"We are pleased to have Karrigan lead our women's soccer program after an extensive search," LeTourneau Vice President for Athletics Dr. Tim Sceggel said. "In a competitive applicant pool, her name rose to the top with her experience in Christian higher education, love for Christ, and expectation for achieving excellence on the pitch."
"I am looking forward to being back in East Texas. I want to thank President Mason and Dr. Tim Sceggel for the opportunity to lead the LeTourneau Women's Soccer program," Falber said. "I am honored and excited to see what the Lord has in store for us as we cultivate disciples and pursue excellence in all that we do."
Falber comes to LeTourneau after spending three seasons as an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator at Montreat College in North Carolina. She assisted the NAIA program in all aspects for head coach Kristin Eggert. She was part of the staff that guided the Cavaliers to an 11-6 record in 2023 and an 8-5-3 mark in 2022.
At Montreat, Falber coached one conference player of the year, one All-American, and six All-AAC selections.
Prior to her time at Montreat, Falber spent two years as an assistant coach with the Dordt University women's soccer program. A member of the Defenders' staff for two full seasons, Falber aided a program that saw success on both the individual and team levels.
A native of Spring, Texas, Falber was a four-year player at East Texas Baptist where she appeared in 30 matches and made 25 starts at goalkeeper. Falber, a team captain for two years, was a two-time ASC Academic All-Conference honoree.
During her time at Montreat, Falber was also the head girls soccer coach at Asheville Christian Academy. She gained additional coaching experience early in her career by working at Challenge Soccer Club Goalkeeper Academy Camps, one of the top goalkeeper programs in South Texas, from 2017-20.
At LeTourneau, Falber seeks to develop the program into a conference and regional contender as the YellowJackets enter the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference in 2025.
"LeTourneau women's soccer will be based on a relationship-driven approach where the message from our staff to our student-athletes is that we care about who you are and who you are becoming more than what you do between the lines of the field," Falber noted about her vision for the program. "This approach helps us understand how the game of soccer can be played as an act of worship and how to operate according to the two greatest commandments of loving God and loving others. Creating a culture with a relationship-based approach to the game will not diminish but rather raise the level of soccer as it operates according to a Kingdom design."
Falber holds a USSF National "C" License. She graduated from East Texas Baptist with a degree in kinesiology wellness management in 2020 and earned a master of education in sport leadership from Dordt in 2022.
